Dr. El-fulaty obtained his Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, Nigeria. He obtained an MSc and a PhD in Immunology from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria. He received further training in recombinant DNA technology, research methods, responsible conduct of research and grant writing from Northwestern University Chicago and other institutions. His research focus is on immunology and infectious diseases with special interest in viral hepatitis and HIV.
Dr. Abdurrahman Ahmad El-fulaty has a vast medical laboratory experience including routine medical laboratory procedures, special tests and molecular biology techniques. He has served as an active front-line medical laboratory scientist in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
He has about 40 peer-reviewed journal publications in high impact scientific journals and serves as a reviewer to some scientific/medical journals and has presented papers in local and international conferences. He is an excellent conference organizer and thrilled by science.
